Jupiter is a quiet oceanfront community with a small town atmosphere situated in Northern Palm Beach County. The area is rich in history dating back to 1565 when the Spanish first came to this part of the new world. Widespread attention followed when Jonathan Dickinson was shipwrecked on the shores of Jupiter. In the 1800’s Jupiter’s most identifiable landmark, the Jupiter Lighthouse was erected.

Jupiter’s tropical temperatures and year round sunny skies make this part of the Treasure Coast and the Palm Beaches an incredible place to live, work, retire and invest. The surrounding towns of Hobe Sound, Juno Beach, Palm Beach Gardens and Tequesta offer a wide variety of residential neighborhoods, golf course communities, condominiums and oceanfront properties that attract young families, professionals, retirees and seasonal residents.

The area has grown into a wonderful small community that encourages outdoor activities throughout its park system, beaches, Intracoastal Waterway and the many miles of navigable waters that meander through the communities. Jupiter is famous for its beautiful white sand, dog friendly, beaches. The Loxahatchee River and Intracoastal Waterway offer a tropical paradise for exploring nature and wildlife. The towns enjoy a vibrant cultural life as the home of the Loxahatchee River Historical Museum, spring training headquarters of the Florida Marlins and St. Louis Cardinals and numerous arts and entertainment festivals.

The Jupiter Waterway is an ideal playground for water sports, with water temperatures that are comfortable year-round. Boating enthusiasts can enjoy the many marinas along the Intracoastal Waterway and direct ocean access via the Jupiter Inlet. For those seeking more active water sports; there is water-skiing, scuba diving, windsurfing and kayaking. Proximity to Gulf Stream waters offers a wide variety of deep-sea fishing with numerous charter boats available in the area.
